story

Must we forever be weaving stories around our personal and specie-al existence? Is a human living without story both idiot and genius, some sort of supernal fool? A consciousness in the immediacy of now, no footprints behind, no trail ahead, yet fully awake and aware. No resume', no reputation to defend, uphold.

  1. I am:
    placating it.
    feeding it.
    entwined in it.
    surrounded by its incessant noise.
    its servant.
    beckoned by its Siren Song.
    its creator.
    not it--my persona-l story.
    as you are.
the living breath of the I AM.
    --we are--I AM.

  3. To be seen as a fool implies judgement. To defend a resume requires attachment. To adhere to a trail with refusal to depart in harmony with each unfolding moment is resistence. Judgement, attachment and resistence are tools our ego uses to prevent us from opening.

Someone else will need to tell this story, for when we are Here, the story simply Is; no drama, no chapters, no thrilling conclusion, except for the ongoing awe of opening to the Source.

By the way, I always enjoy your posts, Gary!
