sounding the matter horn

The universe is the outbreathing of the Great Mystery
hidden behind that surging of time the Big Bang boys can't see.

The outbreathing is the life force,
the in-spirit-ation or in-spire-itation of the cosmos.

The universe has no spirit-matter split.
That splitness is created by us.

Matter is an extension of spirit, of the life force.
Matter is spirit in its densest forming.

What is the matter with us? What is the matter to us?
What is the matter with us depends on what the matter is to us.

No separation. Nothing is the matter.
Separation. Everything is the matter.

  1. Is this anxiety for anxiety's sake? At least as regards "conventional" wisdom. You are correct that most suffering is psychological and needless.

  2. This dialogue on the evolving and involving processes is indeed interesting. Putting a finger of understanding on matter is a bit easier than pointing towards the spirit or the seemless emergence and interplay of the two. However just as in quantum physics, close inspection bears out this notion that matter is spirit and spirit is matter.

  3. I am finding joy in walking through a world where I do not recognize separation. It is frequently a re-learning/un-learning process for me as old habits of separation surface and too often I am tricked by the familiarity of my old ways where seemingly "everything is the matter".

But when I remain mindful that I am part of all that Is, and that my interactions are with those who are not "other" than me, something remarkable happens; forgiveness seems so natural; love simply is the way we unfold. There is no way to experience this without smiling.

  4. Without words there is no splitting, no matter, no life force, no energy, no spirit, no suffering, no universe, no cosmos, no Big Bang, no breathing, nothing to believe, only all that which is and no more.
