the veil of the temple of your heart
When the veil of the temple of your heart is split, when the comfy little illusion of reality you have woven is no more, you will be born. You have no idea what awaits you, for all ideas are veils. It takes courage to allow this leap; beliefs are of no avail -- are the veil. Courage (coeur-age) is of the heart. Full open heart. When the veil of the temple of your heart is split, when the comfy little illusion of reality you have woven is no more, you will be born.

When I see beyond one veil, another always seems to replace it fairly quickly, but I do catch glimpses of "no veil". Sometimes I am able to "see" for longer periods of time -- or perhaps more accurately, "see" beyond time at all -- before a new veil forms; a new dream to transcend arises.
ReplyDeleteThese moments of timeless Being can be embraced and experienced more deeply by the courage of which you speak -- the courage to open our hearts in the face of the unknown. In those moments we are born again, even if another veil arises, the connection that will lead us to the next "veil splitting" has been established and begins to call us back again.
