We help bring about on earth the future in which we live. Much has been made about living in the present, but we must be careful to not dwell in too constricted a present. We are beings of telos with the gift of envisioning a future. We help bring about on earth the future in which we live.
When our future vision is of our own personal enhancement to the exclusion of all else, we help produce that earthly condition. All earthly creation suffers to our own glorification. This, of course, brings about our own doom.
