These self bindings are deep habits of fear. I try to notice when I am going into reactivity and then extend love to myself to set myself loose from the binding of my reactivity. Thanks George
"The Spirit shall look out through Matter's gaze And Matter shall reveal the Spirit's face." --Sri Aurobindo
Perhaps our Gordian-Knot existence is a persona for the Spirit's face: one face, ten-thousand masks. Cutting the knot leaves an empty tomb behind: "Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live." Exodus 33:20 (KJV).
We "die before we die" when we unbind our-selves from our Gordian-Knot mask; "embody[ing] this moment now" reveals the Spirit's face...
A great reminder, George. I am trying to undo some binding these days. Any recommendations?
