my home town

Do you see where Nothing has yet to come into Being?
Do you see where Everything has come into Being?
Do you see that space between the two,
the river of flow out of Nothingness into Somethingness?
I speak from here.
Here is where I live.
This is my home town.
This is where my wings spread
and I soar. All birds uncaged.

  1. "The space between the two..." That sums it up so well.

That is home to us all. Human, insect, stone, dirt, water, oxygen, quark, quantum string; all are our kin-folk.

I sat on a sidewalk and let time slipped away yesterday. I watched a dragon fly checking me out. Eventually, it landed in front of me and sat there too; both pondering our distant cousin. Both remembering beyond form. For an instant, both just Being. Both in the space between what had happened and what would happen.

I love being back in my home town. Sometimes I think I should move back Here for good, only to remember I never really left. This is where I belong too.
